The ideal candidate will have exposure to Integrated Circuit concepts, as found in Semiconductor Materials and IC Design courses.
The candidate must be able to work with others and will eventually be required to drive the Test Development activities for their assigned projects from Project Launch through Production Release. This involves electronic design, schematic entry, netlist generation, specifying critical PCB layout requirements, test program writing and debugging, device characterization, and production transfer activities.
Once hired, this Associate Test Development Engineer will be trained in the use of various types of IC Test equipment, such as handlers, probers, and IC Testers. He/She will also be required to understand the concepts of continuous improvement as they relate to both quality and cost.
- Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in:
- Analog and Digital Electronic concepts
- Computer Programming concepts (preferably C++)
- Schematic Capture concepts (preferably Orcad Capture)
- Problem solving
