How to play: A Sudoku puzzle consists of a grid with nine cells across and nine cells down. This grid is subdivided into nine blocks with 3 x 3 cells in each. The object of the puzzle is to fill the game grid so that each row, column and 3 x 3 block contains the numbers 1 to 9 exactly once. The numbers can appear in any order and diagonals are not considered.

In a Sudoku puzzle there is only one possible solution, and this must be able to be found logically! Since the numbers 1-9 can only appear once in each row, column and 3 x 3 block, possible numbers for the empty cell can be excluded dependent on other numbers of this value that have been provided or already solved.
