The PFC MegaPAC or PFC MegaPAC High Power are compact, user and field-configurable members of the MegaPAC family. Using the VSPOC configurator tool, anybody can now configure a PFC MegaPAC or PFC MegaPAC High Power (and other Westcor power supplies) online.

A complete PFC MegaPAC or PFC MegaPAC High Power supply is configured at the factory by selecting and inserting up to eight (four to six for the PFC MegaPAC High Power depending on ConverterPACs used) same length slide-in output assemblies called ConverterPACs. ConverterPACs incorporate one or two Vicor DC-DC converters and are available in a wide selection of output voltage and power levels. The net result is a power supply that offers the advantages of a custom supply, but is assembled from standard and modular building blocks. Currently, the PFC MegaPAC ONLY uses ConverterPACs with Vicor VI-200 and VI-J00 series DC-DC converters while the PFC MegaPAC High Power accepts ConverterPACs with both VI-200 and VI-J00 series and / or full-brick Maxi module.
