The United States Congress is currently in consultations with business leaders and representatives of several foreign nations with existing RoHS Directives with the intention of promulgating RoHS type Legislation for the United States on the national level. No anticipated completion date for this Legislation has yet been determined. In the meantime, several US States have RoHS type Legislation on their Legislative dockets, or have promulgated such Directives.
